InnVite Hospitality a progressive hotel ownership and management company has a great opportunity for a Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Express Toledo North. The hotel has a great location just off I-75 and near Toledo's auto manufacturing cooridor. Demand generators such as the Jeep Factory, Fiat Chrysler Facilities, General Motors, DANA, Magna, Ice Hockey and other sporting event venues are nearby.

The Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Express Toledo North, will not have to go it alone. He or She will have the support of InnVite Hospitality a dynamic and growing hotel owner/operator and Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) one of the largest hotel families in the world.

The ideal candidate will:

  • One year of hotel sales experience with a focus-service or a full-service brand preferably with an IHG branded hotel.
  • A college degree, or previous hotel management experience can be substituted for the sales experience requirement.
  • Work together with the General Manager to ensure top-line revenue goals are achieved on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Brand Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue to establish rate guidelines for transient, corporate account and group rates.
  • Conduct proactive phone, outside, and creative site tour solicitations each week and achieve the monthly goal.
  • Meet and exceed the monthly booking and consumption goal.
  • Enter all solicitations into ZOHO our Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool.
  • Create and execute the quarterly sales action plan.
  • Answer online and telephone sales leads within 8 hours.
  • Work with the IHG National Sales Team to gain room nights from accounts managed by the brand.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Reliable transportation.

Skill sets needed:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work nights on occasion if needed, to meet with clients.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to attend mixers and breakfasts which may occur outside standard working hours.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and overcome objections and close business.
  • Ability to sell value vs. discounting rate.
  • Ability to determine the strengths and weaknesses of area focus-service hotels, sell against the competition, and shift share to the Holiday Inn Express Toledo North.
