InnVite Hospitality an Ohio based progressive hotel owner/operator  has a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager.  This position will spearhead the sales efforts at the Red Roof Plus Dublin, Quality Inn & Suites North Columbus and Quality Inn & Suites Obetz. 

The Red Roof Plus is the number 2 rated hotel on Trip Advisor by actual hotel guests in the city of Dublin.  This hotel will ensure that new LNR accounts and Groups are happy, due it great operation.  The General Manager just won General Manager of  the Year for all Focus Service Hotel at the Ohio Hotel and Lodging Conference for 2019.  It has a great location just off Post Road, near Dublin's many industrial and corporate parks.

The Quality Inn & Suites North Columbus is located in Worthington, within the Crossroads area and just off US 23.  This hotel has an existing group base and needs to LNR's to cement success.  It is near the demand generators of Crossroads, Route 23, Worthington, Route 750, and the towns of Lewis Center and Orange which feature industrial and corporate parks.

The Quality Inn & Suites Obetz, is located near Rickenbacker Airport, the 25th busiest cargo airport in the US. This area is a hotbed for the logistics and construction industry.  Which are in the sweet spot for the Quality Inn's mix of business.

The ideal candidate will be hands on, directing and executing the sales and revenue generation for three hotels. We want your professionalism, input and drive to put your stamp on the sales process for our properties.  Innvite will provide you with the tools and freedom to be successful. 

The position can be based at either the Red Roof Plus, Quality Inn Worthington or our corporate headquarters at the Easton District in Northeast Columbus.

The Area Sales Manager, will not have to go it alone. He or She will have the support of InnVite Hospitality a dynamic and growing hotel owner/operator. We own and operate all 13 of our hotels!

You will have the tools to succeed in your job!  You will be provided with a laptop, smart phone, cloud based CRM tool and all three hotels' PMS systems can be accessed via laptop.

This an opportunity to jump start revenue with Negotiated Accounts and Groups that have not been called upon in the past.

  • One year of hotel sales experience with a focus-service or a full-service brand.
  •  A college degree, or previous hotel management experience can be substituted for the sales experience requirement.
  • Work together with the General Manager to ensure top-line revenue goals are achieved on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Brand Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue to establish rate guidelines for transient, corporate account and group rates.
  • Conduct proactive phone, outside, and creative site tour solicitations each week and achieve the monthly solicitation goal.
  • Meet and exceed the monthly booking and consumption goal.
  • Enter all solicitations into ZOHO our Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool.
  • Create and execute the quarterly sales action plan.
  • Answer online and telephone sales leads within 8 hours.
  • Work with the Red Roof and Choice Hotels National Sales Teams to gain room nights from accounts managed by the brand.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends on occasion if needed, to meet with clients.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to attend mixers and breakfasts which may occur outside standard working hours.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and overcome objections and close business.
  • Ability to sell value vs. discounting rate.
  • Ability to determine the strengths and weaknesses of area focus-service hotels, sell against the competition, and shift share to the Red Roof Plus, Quality Inn & Suites North Columbus and Quality Inn & Suites Obetz.
